Denise Gallant has worked with legendary director and special effects supervisor Douglas Trumbell on his film "Brainstorm" with Natalie Wood and Christopher Walken, and Academy Award winning Special Effects Supervisor John Dyskstra on the movie "Lifeforce." Denise’s work has earned her multiple features in the video/film magazine, "Videography".
Along with documentaries in the music industry for the annual LA-based NAMM/TEC Awards show, Video4Creative produced a two hour video for Denny Doherty's ‘Dream A Little Dream’, a live theatre show covering his iconic 60’s band the Mamas & the Papas. V4C also recently produced a short documentary for Christopher Hitchen's last book tour, and has created videos for Nancy Ellen Abrams and NASA astrophysisist Joel Primack, for their iBooks and DVD series for their top-100 book, "The View from the Center of the Universe".
Kevin and Denise co-produced, filmed, and edited the movie "The Dixie Hummingbirds - 80 Years Young," a concert documentary on America's longest surviving gospel group. This film featured Stevie Wonder and a very special performance Dixie Hummingbird's singing “Love Me Like a Rock" with Paul Simon.
Denise has also edited and co-produced the recent documentary on Santa Cruz's 40-year-old music venue, "The Catalyst", directed by Michele Benson and Dean Newbury. “The Catalyst” is narrated by Greg Kihn, with performances by The Humans, Tao Chemical, Neil Young, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.
