Live interactive performance and discussions with avant-garde looping artist, Bill Walker, and experimental audio/visual artist, Tim Thompson. Bill Walker discusses the history of audio looping and demonstrates looping with several different guitars, with an array of technical looping devices. Bill is accompanied by Tim Thompson who plays his own audio/visual invention, the Space Palette. Video clips are included from other performances including Bill's past looping performances, and Tim's performances at Burning Man and other interactive events.

Episode 7 - Nancy Ellen Abrams and Joel Primack
CTV's 2012 New Years Eve show with astrophysicist, Joel Primack and lawyer/writer, Nancy Ellen Abrams, discuss the need for a new cosmological understanding of the universe, as described in their books, "The View From the Center of the Universe" and their new book "The New Universe and the Human Future". Joel, who is one of the originators and developers of the theories on Cold Dark Matter, reveals the latest scientific discoveries and explorations that we should see in 2012, and beyond. Joel and Nancy also review and explain the truths and falsehoods of the 2012 myths concerning the 26000 year Elliptical Precession of the Earth's axis and the Mayan Calendar. Episode 8 - EMU Systems
Interviews with E-MU System's founders Dave Rossum and Scott Wedge by producer Denise Gallant. Co-hosts include long time EMU employees Kevin Monahan and Max Mobley. Scott and Dave discuss the founding of this 40 year old Santa Cruz based company, who developed some of the first integrated circuits for programable musical instrument synthesizers. Their products - the first chips used in the Prophet V, Drumulator and SP12 Drum Machines, multiple generations of the Emulator, and the Proteus, revolutionized the music industry. The Emulator was used by top music groups such as Yes, Genesis, Talking Heads, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and many more. This show includes excerpts of Depeche Mode demoing the Emulator, early ABC news shows about the Emulator, and movie clips with the Emulator in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
